About BahtBeat
BahtBeat is named after Pattaya's baht bus: the blue songthaew people ride from bar to bar all night. The site does the same job for live music. It brings every show in town into one calendar, so you can see what's on tonight and where.
Where the listings come from
Every day at 17:00 and 19:30 (Bangkok time), BahtBeat looks for live music in Pattaya on:
- venue websites and the venues' own Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts
- TikTok videos that mention a Pattaya venue (marked as not yet checked)
- ticket and event sites such as Eventbrite, Songkick and Thai Ticket Major
- Pattaya City's festival calendar and local news
- web search in English and Thai
Every Monday it searches TikTok for Pattaya dates from about 100 of Thailand's most popular artists, and on the 1st of each month it checks their other pages too.
Every listing links back to where it was found. BahtBeat doesn't sell tickets.
How accurate it is
Bands change, shows get cancelled, and venues post late, so check with the venue before you go. Listings marked "Expected, not yet announced" are recurring events whose dates and lineup haven't been confirmed yet. "Found by the scan, not yet checked" means the scan found the listing but no one has confirmed it.
The nightly residencies are bars with live bands every night. Their hours are the usual hours and can change.

Privacy
BahtBeat has no accounts and no sign-up. The site shows ads from Google AdSense: Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ads Settings, and read more in how Google uses data for ads. The map is loaded from OpenStreetMap and the fonts from Google Fonts, which see your IP address the way any website does. Your language choice is remembered in your own browser only.
